Our Promise
Every item purchased directly from our website is covered by our limited manufacturer’s warranty against structural defects in materials and workmanship.
1. Warranty Period
Our standard warranty applies to all residential products for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the item.
2. What is Covered?
We guarantee that our products will be free from significant defects in the following areas:
- Structural Integrity: Frames, joints, and internal construction.
- Manufacturing Faults: Errors occurring during the assembly or production process.
- Material Quality: Defects in the raw materials that lead to premature failure under normal domestic use.
3. What is Not Covered?
Our warranty is designed to cover genuine manufacturing issues. It does not cover:
- Natural Characteristics: Variations in wood grain, knots, or natural leather markings inherent to “crafted” products.
- Wear and Tear: Normal fading of fabrics due to sunlight or pilling of upholstery.
- Misuse: Damage caused by improper cleaning or accidental spills.
- Environmental Factors: Damage caused by extreme humidity or heat sources.
4. Making a Claim
If you believe your item has a manufacturing fault, please contact our Compliance and Quality department. To expedite your claim:
- Email compliance@dev.thecraftedhome.co.uk.
- Include your original order number and clear photographs of the defect.
- Provide a brief description of the issue and how the item has been cared for.
Our team will review the claim and, at our discretion, arrange for a professional repair, replacement part, or a full replacement.
5. Your Statutory Rights
The Crafted Home warranty is provided in addition to your legal rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. Nothing in these terms affects your right to a refund or repair for goods that are faulty.
